Man arrested on hospice property. Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following another break-in at the Chatham-Kent Hospice construction site in Chatham. Police received a call about a suspicious person in the area around midnight Saturday. Officers found a man inside a trailer on the site and took him into custody. A 52-year-old Chatham man is facing charges of break and enter and possession of stolen property. A 32-year-old Chatham man was arrested on outstanding warrants for failing to comply with his recognizance. Police found the man on Degge Street in Chatham just after 8 p. m. Saturday. A man was arrested following a suspicious person call in Tilbury Saturday night. Police said they found a man in the area of Canal St. who was intoxicated and unable to care for himself at about 11:30 p. m. For his safety, the man was arrested and held until sober, police said. Chatham-Kent police set up RIDE spot checks in Tilbury, Wallaceburg, Blenheim and Dresden Saturday evening. Police are asking for public assistance to locate a brown 2005 Chevrolet Venture van that went missing from a residence on Canterbury Street in Chatham early Sunday morning.
