A 27-year-old Hickman man has pleaded guilty to motor vehicle homicide for driving drunk and crashing into a Lincoln man riding his bicycle on Saltillo Road in September. Turner said the investigation showed that Hoesing was driving a Chevy Prizm west on Saltillo Road at 60 mph that evening when he hit Dalke, who had slowed to turn south onto 54th Street. Hoesing told deputies he didn't see Dalke until it was too late, Turner said. Turner said deputies smelled alcohol on his breath and took him to detox where, nearly two hours after the collision, his blood alcohol tested at. 189, more than twice the legal limit to drive.
