As you can see GM has redesigned the TP3018 filter as of 12/20.
GM provided a photo of the differences in the filters and is added to the photos in the listing.
* GM # 12664429 / TP3018 (white filter) is replaced by 19420323 / TP3018 (blue filter)
* Overall water removal efficiency is 10-20% points higher than the previous design
* Simpler appearing media performs better than the previous design
* Fits 2001-2016 6.6L V8 Duramax Diesel engines (see catalog for exact applications)
