Custom manufactured wiring harness to add fog lights to your 2005 Silverado.
Includes 10 zip ties to secure harness during installation. Requires factory switch, relay and fuse to function.

Not all harness are created equal, there are other sellers that copied our old wording to describe their harnesses. However, these do not appear to have copied the same quality components we use. Our philosophy is design and provide the best product possible. We do not cut cost by using lower quality components (see pictures to see the actual, high quality products used in assembling this harness). Our harnesses have provided us, personally, the opportunity to add fog lights to our personal vehicles.
We only use same Delphi fog lamp connectors used in the factory wiring harness. These are clearly marked Delphi/Packard/PED for this lamp connector.
This harness is custom manufactured for the 2005 Silverado so the factory correct wire colors of violet and black are used. High quality automotive 16 Gauge TXL wire and Nylon 1/4" split loom is used due to the higher temperature rating for under the hood. Nylon split loom typically has a gray stripe running the length to identify the material. Be cautious of all black loom, it is typically cheaper and is not rated for the same high temperatures that it could be exposed to near the radiator and engine.
This harness has a single ground connector that is grounded in the same place as a truck with factory fog lights. Harness tape and heat shrink are used to provide protection from abrasion.
The cable seal has 3 ridges for proper sealing of the fog lamp, with ridges evenly spaced across the entire seal. Lamp connector terminals are crimped with Rennsteig Production crimp tools and dies.
