NEW HEAVY DUTY Eaton Style Limited Slip Positraction Carrier for GM/Chev 8.5" and 8.6" with 30 spline axles.
This unit has the large heavy duty bearing hub that fits any model of GM/Chev pickup or car that has an 8.5" or 8.6" rear axle assembly, by using the proper bearing combination. Fits 2.73 - 5.13 ratios.
A heavy duty 4 spring clutch plate is used so various shim pack combinations can be used to allow from 200 - 800 lbs of side thrust, enabling the user to adjust the unit, if necessary. Unit comes standard with 400 lbs.
United States Powertrain uses heavy-duty internals and carbon fiber clutches for a strong, long lasting unit. The case is a precision machined unit from the highest quality steel. Fully rebuildable and assembled in the USA!
