Wind back the clock to the turn of the century and the fledgling tuner car scene was about to be thrust into the national spotlight. In 2001 , The Fast and the Furious hit the silver screen and car enthusiasts everywhere scrambled to emulate its outlandish vehicular heroes by adding to their cars all the noisy exhaust tips, over-sized wide body kits and spoilers they could find. Some even slathered their cars with underglow which, for whatever reason, served to draw attention to the underside of the car with a series of pulsating lights. Because, no one in their right mind still fits underglow to their cars, right. Here’s proof: The guy in the video below recently picked up a pre-owned fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro SS (possibly a 1LE judging by the wheels), only to find a mysterious switch and controller hidden inside his car. Unfortunately, for the embarrassment of the car community at large, the worst came true. Some blue lights in the hood,” he says sarcastically as his Camaro strobes behind him.
