The RP3-GM12 adapter facilitates replacement of a factory radio while retaining all factory safety warning chimes and audible turn signal indicators. Compatible with amplified and non-amplified audio systems. This interface enables aftermarket radio installation without retention of the factory radio, replicates factory warning chimes, provides a data-bus generated 12-volt accessory power output that is fully compatible with GM's Retained Accessory Power(RAP)system. RAP keeps the radio powered after key-off, just like the factory system.

The Dash Kit is made out of factory textured ABS plastic. It includes fully adjustable ISO mounting brackets, instructions and mounting hardware. Color finish is Black. Due to in-dash depth restrictions, some radios may not fit dash opening and/or some minor kit modifications might have to be done during installation.
