This fixed-price listing includes the PAC OS-5 OnStar® Radio Replacement Interface & the PAC SWI-CP2 steering wheel retention adapter.
The OS5 Radio Replacement Interface will help you retain your OnStar® system's functionality and your Bose factory-installed amplifier (if present) when your vehicle's factory radio is replaced with an aftermarket radio in a 29-bit GMLAN vehicle. You'll be able to retain your warning chimes, Rear Seat Controls (RSC) and factory XM radio. The PAC OS-5 will also provide data driven outputs such as retained accessory power (RAP), vehicle speed sensor (VSS), illumination, reverse trigger and parking brake.
The SWI-CP2 control functions such as volume, mode and track on most Advent, Alpine, BOYO, Clarion, Dual, Fusion, JVC, Lightning Audio, Kenwood, Nakamichi, Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate, Sony, and Visteon. The ControlPRO SWI-CP2 retains the built-in steering wheel controls in vehicles when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket radio. It is compatible with today’s most popular vehicles, even with more complex electronic systems including CAN bus, GMLAN, and Class II systems. The simple to use module can be configured in multiple ways, via DIP switches, direct from a USB connected PC, or a button learning procedure. Wiring and vehicle configuration switch settings are provided through the ControlPRO APP, available for PC, and Android and iOS devices.
