Cops: One injured, one sought by police in Norristown street brawl - The Times Herald

31 at 3:20 a. m. police responded to the 500 block of Barbadoes Street for a report of a fight involving approximately 10 people. Officers arrived to find the fight had broken up, but there was a still large group of people gathered and a man standing on a porch with a head wound and a blood-soaked shirt. The victim and other witnesses told police they were drinking on the porch when a group of five men walked by and one of them threw an empty soda bottle where they were congregating. During the melee, a piece of the porch’s railing came off, and the man who threw the soda bottle allegedly used it to bludgeon the victim. Witnesses said that after the fight, the group fled north toward Marshall Street. He was wearing a red shirt and left behind a black hat with a Redstone Grill logo on it. Police collected the hat and the piece of railing used in the assault and entered them into evidence. NORRISTOWN >> A woman called police around 3 p. m. Aug.
