Man shot, wounded in Tampa after robbery attempt - WFLA
TAMPA, FL (WFLA) – A man is in a hospital with serious injuries after being robbed at gunpoint and shot at, according to Tampa Police. The victim Michael Howard, 35, of Valrico, was sitting in his car when the suspect came up to him and demand cash, pointing a gun at him. Howard tried to drive off in his 2001 Chrysler Sebring but the suspect fired several rounds wounding Howard. The victim drove up to a police cruiser not too far from the scene and told officers he was shot. Tampa Police continue to investigate the shooting.
