Wood County Sheriff's Report - KMOO

Deputy Dustin Fenlaw was dispatched to a residence on CR 3860 in reference to an assault. An elderly man stated he went to speak to a woman about money she owed him and was confronted by the woman’s father who pushed him to the ground twice. Fenlaw noted injuries on the man’s arms consistent with his story. Deputy Justin Bowring was dispatched about 10:30 pm to a residence on CR 1858 for a possible structure fire. Shortly after 1:30 a. m. Bowring was again dispatched to the residence which was fully engulfed in flames. Deputy Tucker George was dispatched to a residence on CR 3420 for a report of criminal mischief. A woman stated she found damage to her car and believed it had been “keyed”. George observed damage on the driver’s side of the car from the front of the vehicle to the rear and noted the damage was consistent with damage caused by a key or other metal object. Deputy George recorded information about possible suspects and photographed the damage. A juvenile female reported that her 10 year old brother had been assaulted by a 22 year old male. Moffett spoke with the victim who stated he had been choked by the suspect after he accidently head butted the man. The 10 year old victim also advised the man had bent his thumb back causing him to lose feeling. Source: www.kmoo.com
