Our reading of New Hampshire's penal code suggests that, at the very least, the driver is facing a Class B felony charge because the crash resulted in a fatality. The penal code requires the driver of any vehicle "who knows or should have known that he or she has just been involved in any accident which resulted in death, personal injury or damages to property" to stop immediately and provide identifying... Police have said the victim was not wearing reflective clothing and his bicycle didn't have the lights or reflectors that are required by state law to be on any bicycle operated after dark.
