KSP: 2 Adults And 4 Children Killed In Wayne Co. Crash - LEX18 Lexington KY News

Kentucky State Police say six people have been killed in a crash along KY 90 in Wayne County. Investigators tell LEX 18 that a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus passenger car with six occupants was traveling westbound on KY 90. The passenger car crossed the center lane and struck a 2001 Dodge pickup truck that was traveling eastbound. All six occupants of the Chrysler, two adults and four children, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Wayne County Coroner. The Wayne County Coroner tells LEX 18 that Tena Proctor, 41, Sarah Elizabeth (Audrey) Ellis, 25, Nathan Proctor, 12, Christian (Red) Barnhouse, 4, Zoe Bertram, 2, and Jace Bertram, 17 months were all pronounced dead at the scene. State Police say that both occupants of the Dodge pickup were transported to hospitals, one was taken to UK Hospital and the other was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. The Coroner requested help from Kentucky Coroners/Medical Response Team due to the size of the investigation and the number of deceased people. A Laurel County man is recovering at UK Hospital after he was injured in a forklift accident at the cookie factory where he worked.
