South side wreck sends two women to hospital - The Banner-Graphic

A 2005 Ford sedan (left) driven by Estelle Edwards, Greencastle, sustained severe driver's side damage when it pulled into the path of a westbound 2001 Pontiac Aztek (below) on Veteran's Highway Thursday morning. The impact spun the Ford arround, causing it to impact the front of a 2010 Chrystler Town and Country waiting at the intersection. Ed Wilson of the Greencastle Police Department told the Banner Graphic that Estelle Edwards, 64, Greencastle, was stopped on Putnamville Street, preparing to turn left onto eastbound Veterans Highway in a 2005 Ford Focus. Edwards pulled onto Veterans Highway and into the path of a westbound 2001 Pontiac Aztek driven by Geraldine Pritchett, 84, Reelsville. Pritchett's vehicle T-boned Edwards car on the driver's side, spinning it to the south side of Veterans Highway, where its tail end collided with the front of a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country stopped northbound on Cemetery Road and driven by Erin... Due to the extensive amount of debris, officers closed the highway for a time, with additional PCSD deputies keeping traffic at U. S. 231 from entering westbound Veterans Highway.
