This Is The Later, Shorter Version Of The 17084 Chrysler Starter, However This Unit Is Used In The Dodge Trucks, And Has A "Cut-Out" In The Drive Pinion Area, So Most All Of The Pinion Gear Itself Is Exposed, Rather Than The Older 17084 Version Where Only The Pinion Teeth Were Exposed. Reports Are That This "Cut-Out" Is Needed For Proper Fit. Although The 17084 Will Not Fit In Place On The 17466, It Is Probable That The 17466 Will Fit...
