Bar owner facing 20 years in cocaine, heroin conspiracy - Washington Times

Miller pleaded guilty Aug. 6 to a bill of information charging him with attempted possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. A criminal forfeiture filed in the case also calls for the seizure of a 2008 Dodge Charger and $8,628 in alleged drug proceeds. A federal grand jury indicted Miller, bar owner Julie Michelle Glass, 31, and Randall Sheffield on drug conspiracy charge in the case. Sheffield later pleaded guilty to conspiracy to buy and sell China White heroin out of the Pass Road bar. Court papers say Miller and Glass started trying to set up a deal to buy 3 kilos of cocaine in November. Later, Miller met with a confidential informant and told him he sold heroin out of the bar and worked with members of a New Orleans drug-trafficking organization. In a later meeting, records say, Glass and Miller attempted to buy a kilo each of cocaine and heroin. Glass is serving seven years and three months in prison on a drug conspiracy charge.
