Dodge Challenger, Charger offer good power for the price - Los Altos Town Crier

When a friend at our Saturday morning gearhead gathering heard Gary start up the 2015 Dodge Charger sedan and listened to its lumpy sounds at idle, he said, “It just reaches down and grabs hold of the 13-year-old inside you. With their retro appeal to sight, sound and sensations, this car and its stablemate, the Dodge Challenger Coupe, do exactly that. The only differences between the two cars are the number of doors and slightly different grille designs. Both hemi-equipped Dodges were deliberately designed to take us back to the glory days of the 1970s, when posters of American muscle cars were on the bedroom walls of every teenage gearhead. The incredible thing is that these two cars do that without compromising on any of the modern safety, convenience and handling capabilities we have come to expect of any brand-new car. However, we can forgive them a few miles per gallon when the two-door Challenger is stickered at $41,490 out the door and the four-door Charger costs only $2,000 more. Source: www.losaltosonline.com
