Concert set for arena - Dodge City Daily Globe

Singer-songwriter Matthew West brings his Live Forever Tour to the United Wireless Arena in Dodge City on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 10 a. m. West is a multiple ASCAP Christian Music Songwriter/Artist of the Year winner, American Music Award and Billboard Music Award winner and a tour-time Grammy nominee. "So many people have been made to feel that their story is insignificant, that they don't matter, or that their story is somehow disqualified because they've got too many messed up parts to it, and 'Why would it matter. West -- who previous albums were Story of Your Life and Into the Light -- believes each story has power. "Each story told awakens something in people who have yet to find the courage to tell their own," the artist said. "One story goes out and more stories come back. One by one, these stories encourage people to be the storytellers in their own lives, wherever they are, because your story can help someone else and their story can help someone else. "I definitely think the albums I've made have documented my journey from being a young woman to becoming a young mom," Battistelli said in a bio on her website. Source: www.dodgeglobe.com
