art Artist talk Saturday, Aug. California-based artists and gallerists Sandy Simon and Robert Brady will present a talk on their work and influences. Turman Larison art Turman Larison contemporary presents “Mined” from Aug. 21 from 6-8 p. m. with an artist talk at 5 p. m. New exhibition space The Holter Museum of Art is now accepting proposals for a new exhibition space for the 2015-2016 calendar year. The Aquarium Gallery is a 24-hour micro-gallery that showcases the work of local and regional artists. The gallery will provide an alternative exhibition space for those working in new media, installation and sculpture. The work in the gallery will not be available for sale but is instead intended to spark a dialogue between the Helena community and its artists. This is a great way for artists to present their work to a large audience and the space would act as a means for the community to interact with artists in the area.
