Dodge Power Wagon HEMI Restomod by Icon is a Cool Pickup Truck - Video, Photo ... - autoevolution

Before the Power Wagon and Ram nameplates were born, Dodge’s array of pickup trucks was dubbed the D Series. One of only two examples built to date, the Icon Dodge Power Wagon Crew Cab HEMI is a seriously cool truck by modern customizing standards. When the ’64 Dodge D200 Crew Cab arrived at Icon’s shop in Los Angeles, it was just a rusty bucket of bolts. Instead of the original Slant-6 engine, Icon engineers got a 5. 7-liter HEMI V8 motor in the engine bay, mated it to a modern automatic transmission, then equipped the truck with similarly modern braking and fuel systems. In essence, the running gear is the same as what you get on a 2007 Dodge Mega Cab 4x4. Have a wild stab in the dark what visual cues and/or structural elements haven’t been modified by the Californian outfit’s talented crew. Other than the Magnuson charger on top of that HEMI powerhouse, Icon gave this truck a set of 37-inch BF Goodrich A/T rubber, 17-inch beadlock wheels from Hutchinson, Kore-Fox racing suspension, as well as a ceramic coated stainless steel exhaust... Leather seats, wool for the floor, and the steering wheel of a bus complete the Icon Dodge D200 Power Wagon Crew Cab Reformer. Source: www.autoevolution.com
