CROWN POINT | A Michigan City woman and the man who stopped to help her change a tire on Interstate 65 Thursday night were struck by a driver who fled the scene, Indiana State Police said. Around 6:45 p. m. Thursday, a 23-year-old Michigan City woman and a 60-year-old San Pierre, Ind. man who stopped to help her were standing on the shoulder of southbound I-65 at the 247. 5 mile marker just south of the ramp to U.
