1 arrested, 1 hurt after car flees Detroit police - The Detroit News

One person was arrested after fleeing from Detroit police and striking two cars Friday night on the city’s near west side. Officers tried to stop a 2006 Dodge Magnum with an improper license plate around 5:40 p. m. but the driver refused and sped off, said Sgt. Cassandra Lewis, a spokeswoman for the Detroit Police Department. The vehicle then hit a Chevrolet Cobalt as well as a taxi van near the intersection of Grand River and McGraw, Lewis said. Officers recovered two guns from the Dodge and arrested one of the three people inside, but two fled on foot, Lewis said. Source: www.detroitnews.com
