Sarasota deputies locate missing man with Alzheimer's - WFLA
UPDATE — Mr. Herbert J. Mennel has been found and was safely returned to his residence. SARASOTA COUNTY, FL (WFLA) – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing endangered person. On Tuesday around 7:20 p. m. , Herbert J. Mennel was reported missing, by his daughter, from the 4000 block of Calle Serena. Mennel is 87, and has gray hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be travelling in a 2004 gray Dodge Caravan with the New York tag FSZ9247. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office at 941-861-5800 or 911.
