UPDATE: Grand Forks businessman struck by car, in satisfactory condition - Grand Forks Herald
Walter Swingen, 84, was hit by a car driven by 34-year-old Rebekah Ramierez of Grand Forks at 7:23 a. m. Ramierez was driving a 2007 Dodge Caravan south in the 1200 block of South 12th Street when the crash occurred. Duane Simon said he wasn’t expecting Ramierez to be cited for the crash. "The Grand Forks Police Department wishes to remind all drivers to always wear their seatbelts and to drive safe and sober, and pedestrians to look both ways before crossing the street," the release states.
