Prior to installing a replacement compressor, your system must be flushed and vacuumed, the drier, accumulator, and expansion valve must be replaced, and the condenser, hoses, and general condition of the system should be inspected.
Compressor Warranty:
Discount Auto AC (DAAC) warrants, to the original purchaser, that all light duty compressors be free of defects for a standard period of 90 days from the date of original purchase. Only Discount Auto, at its own facility, shall determine validity of warranty. Compressor warranty does not extend to other A/C or electrical system components.
Our sole obligation, under this warranty, shall be to repair or replace any defective product that is returned to us. Damage caused by installation, abuse, or any use not intended for the product, will void the warranty. For parts NOT found defective, a notice of inspection findings will be sent to the purchaser and the product will be returned at buyer's expence or disposed of within 30 days. Discount Auto AC will not pay any labor or incidental charges associated with the replacement of parts under warranty.
Warranty part must be returned, freight pre-paid, to Discount Auto AC. Discount Auto AC will return warranty parts via USPS priority or UPS Ground freight pre-paid.
