Technical director James Allison is to remain with Ferrari through to the end of the 2018 Formula 1 season after signing an extension to his current contract. But following a positive return to Maranello, as Allison was initially involved with the team from 1999-2005, Ferrari has signed the Briton for another three seasons. Allison's arrival two years ago meant he was unable to have a significant impact on the 2014 car, but his influence has helped turn Ferrari's fortunes around with its SF15-T.
