Xcar gets the scoop on Ford's strategy for the GT at Le Mans in 2016 - Autoblog (blog)

Just to save everyone the time of watching, there is nothing in this video which is a scoop on Ford's strategy at Le Mans except he mentioned the engine will make 600HP and they've race-proven the engine in "the IMSA series" for 1. 5 years. Doug would have called the Tudor United series the Tudor United series. Ford will be running two cars in Tudor United, Chip Ganassi racing will run the program. They hope to have all 4 cars at Le Mans. It's a lot of "we plan to use everything we learn from this car to make our street cars better" stuff. And as to the car, it's quite interesting, but I can't imagine anyone would look at it and say it's a GT40 follow-on. The flying buttresses and Riviera tail shape make it look look more like a McLaren F1 than a GT40. Source: www.autoblog.com
