Dodge has been selling the Ram with a CNG option since 2012 and they've sold over 1,000 units to date. Clearly there is a demand for the gas alternative and now they're offering this option over a larger option list. With the availability of natural gas station around the nation and the option to outfit your home with your own CNG refueling station, CNG has become a popular alternative for many Americans. Gas prices fluctuate by whole dollars, but the price of CNG stays relatively stable. Dodge adds on the CNG option by redesigning fuel heads with toughened CNG compatible valves and valve seat materials enabling the engine to use both fuels.
