An eastbound 2013 Chevrolet, driven by Jesse R. Merritt, 25, of Aurora, struck a vehicle that had slowed for a stopped vehicle in front of it at 4:08 p. m. The slowed vehicle, another 2013 Chevrolet driven by Shala Bass, 25, of Diamond, was pushed... Bass’ vehicle traveled off the south edge of the road after impact, while Merritt’s car continued east and struck Gose’s vehicle in the rear.
