Police News for June 14, 2015: Two injured in Elkhart fight - Goshen News

Elkhart police officers reported to the 1300 block of Delaware Street at 10:31 p. m. Friday regarding a fight involving several subjects, according to a police report. Both victims were transported to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of what police said appear to be non-life threatening wounds. • Mayolo Salazar, 42, sustained minor injuries to his knee, lower leg and foot after a head-on crash on Clinton Street at 10:42 p. m. Thursday, according to police reports. Salazar, of 202 Brookside Manor, told police he was driving his 2013 Chrysler Town and Country SUV west bound on Clinton Street from Greene Road when he saw a silver 2006 Nissan 350Z approaching what appeared to be a high speed. Salazar said he saw the vehicle go left of center and began to drive off the road to avoid a crash. • Katherine Miller, 20, of Goshen, sustained minor injuries to her face after a crash at 3:03 p. m. Friday in the 100 block of U. S. 33.
