2015 Ford Transit 350 XLT Wagon High Roof review notes - Autoweek

Having a good time in a big commercial van. ONLINE FEATURES EDITOR JAKE LINGEMAN: So, this 2015 Ford Transit 350 Wagon is great for transporting people around, but I don’t think, even in regular-roof trim, that families, even big families, would buy it for day-to-day transportation like... It looks like a cargo transporter. This Transit is surprisingly easy to drive. It does take a long time to get warm, there aren’t many soft-touch materials to speak of, and you’re kind of on an island when you’re in the driver’s seat. I do love the toggle switches, though they aren’t connected to anything in this. They’re still fun to play with, while making afterburner sounds when you’re by yourself. DIGITAL EDITOR ANDREW STOY: I was getting ready to take my first flight on the huge, double-decker Airbus A380 shortly after I spent time in the Ford Transit Wagon, and I couldn’t help but note the profile similarities between our high-roof van... However, unlike Jake, I used the toggle switches to raise and lower the landing gear. I love driving commercial vans for some unexplained reason, leading to quite a bit of time in the Ford’s most obvious. Source: autoweek.com
