It wasn’t long before Pritchard packed up the 1954 Oldsmobile S-88 and followed her to the West Coast from Mississippi. She fell in love with the car. She fell in love with Pritchard. Pritchard and Ginger would take the car to Big Bear, Palm Springs and car shows around the state. “We had 10 good years,” Pritchard said. It was her first reunion with Pritchard and the car. “She loved the car,” he said. Pritchard’s Oldsmobile was just one of hundreds of racers, rat rods and classic cars lining the streets of Solvang’s Village Center on Saturday during the 11th annual Wheels 'n Windmills Car Show.
