Historical vehicles driven by The King Richard Petty, Rusty Wallace and Dale Earnhardt will be among the many cars displayed in the Nationwide Showcase Pavilion. The King holds many NASCAR Cup Series records including most wins (200), most starts (1,185) and is tied with Dale Earnhardt for most championships (seven). The driver of the famous Petty Blue car has a total of five wins at Charlotte Motor Speedway: the 1961 100-mile qualifying race, two Coca-Cola 600s (1975 and 1977) and two Bank of America 500s (1975 and 1983).
