36-year-old Shaka Reid was shot dead on Oseknonton Ln Dundas St E and Sherbourne St on August 19. Speaking with reporters Wednesday Det. Mike Carbone would not delve in Reid's background but says he was known to police and was targeted. Carbone says Reid was with several friends on Dundas when what is thought to be a newer white, four-door Ford Taurus pulled up alongside them. There was a fair amount of traffic of Dundas at the time, so Carbone is hoping someone will speak up about what they saw and come forward.
