Moped, car collide in Ledyard, Lifestar called to scene - FOX CT
LEDYARD –On Thursday morning, just after noon, a serious crash closed down Route 117, near Village Drive. Police say that both a car–a 2011 Ford Taurus–and a moped were driving south on Route 117, when the two crossed paths at an intersection. The driver of the moped, Jeremy Traxler, 24, of Ledyard, suffered a serious head injury and was taken by LifeStar to Hartford Hospital. The driver of the car, a 25-year-old from Griswold, had no apparent injuries. Source: foxct.com
