*You must have all remotes on hand when performing this procedure. Any remotes not used during this procedure will become inactive.

Programming Procedure #1
95-00 Contour, 93-94 Crown Vic, 94-98 Mustang, 93-95 Taurus, 93-97 Thunderbird, 92-94 Continental, 93-96 Mark VIII, 93-94 Town Car, 93-97 Cougar, 93-95 Sable, 93-94 Grand Marquis

1. Turn ignition to RUN or ACC. (Run is forward shy of starting car, ACC is turning the key back opposite of starting car.)

2. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located at the base of the steering column (Mustang, Taurus, Thunderbird, Cougar, Sable), or behind the glove box (Contour, Crown Victoria, Continental, Mark VIII, Town Car, Grand Marquis); the exact location will vary from vehicle to vehicle. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. (Programming connector will be 2 wires with a plastic plug at the end. The plug Will NOT be connected to anything.
