Retired CPA and original owner selling final vehicle from car collection re: 69 years old and time to move on. Car was purchased new from a Atlanta-area Ford dealer as a masters degree graduation gift for my daughter and subsequently titled back to me when she later bought another type of vehicle. Shortly after the car was purchased, a factory Saleen supercharger was installed by a prominent Atlanta-area Mustang performance shop and tuned to Saleen specs. About that same time, Hooker long-tube headers, welded frame connectors, front Brembo brakes, a roll bar and 5-point front seat belts were also added. Almost 100% of the miles on this car were highway miles from my daughter going back and forth to work on a 100 mile daily commute. This car has never been tracked, raced or otherwise abused and has been continuously garaged. It drives great, always turns heads and runs great. To the best of my knowledge there are no mechanical, electrical or drivability issues and all gauges and controls work as designed. No accidents and no open recalls. The emissions system was serviced earlier this year and passed Georgia emissions at that time. Catalytic converters, mufflers and other exhaust system components are totally intact and fully functional. The exhaust has a traditional "Mustang growl" but is not overly loud.
The negatives:(1). There are some rock chips on the front portion of the hood and some curb rash on the outer lip of the left front rim as consistent with a car that's been driven 41,000 miles.(2). The 5-point seat belts in the front seats must be used - - no standard seat belts. Also, the car is essentially a 2-seater due to the roll bar. The back seat leather seating surfaces remain totally intact and can be used to store small packages, minor groceries, etc - - just not passengers.
This car is being sold "as is / where is" in Peachtree City, Georgia 30269 (30 minutes south of Atlanta's airport). Given the age of this vehicle there...
