Probe Of Door Latch Failures On 2011-2013 Ford Fiesta Now Includes 2013 Ford ... - The Car Connection
NHTSA has now logged some 218 complaints about the Fiesta's doors, 65 of which insist that one or more of the doors opened while the vehicle was moving. What's more, two owners have complained of injuries resulting from the problem: in both cases, an open door rebounded and struck a passenger in the vehicle. Ford itself has received 451 additional reports of latch problems, not including any that might overlap with those submitted to NHTSA.
