Forest City Iowa – The Operation LZ Convoy left the Boondocks just a little behind schedule but was soon on its way. It was led by a missing man formation of four motorcycles and a F450 heavy duty monster truck with a giant American flag in the truck bed. The convoy was joined by several other groups of motorcyclists from Clear Lake, Mason City, Manly, Leland, Lake Mills, and other cities in the area. The convoy grew as more motorcyclists joined in along the way, with eventually hundreds participating. Iowa State Patrol joined other law enforcement divisions to escort the convoy to its final destination in Heritage Park in Forest City for the afternoon opening ceremonies. Source: kchanews.com
