Car review: 2016 Ford Edge Titanium crossover SUV - The Salinas Californian

Recently I tested the 2016 Ford Edge crossover SUV and really, really enjoyed it. As some of you might recall, I have been on a Ford kick recently. The quality and fit and finish of the vehicles that Ford is turning out is impressive and is something to be celebrated. This 5-passenger midsize crossover remains offered in four trim lines -- the entry-level SE, the mid-level SEL, the he high-end Titanium and the top of the line Sport. Mated to a decent and amiable 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission, my Edge boasted a solid 315 horsepower and 350 pound-ft of torque. My tester came with full-time all-wheel drive and felt solid on both paved and unimproved roads. But the Edge is a truly well designed and well built vehicle that does a lot of things really well. My 2016 Ford Edge Titanium, as equipped, came with a price tag of about $39,000 although this line's base model comes in at about $10,000 less. But I'd save the Edge for last -- I think you might just buy one when you get back to the dealership from your test drive. Source: www.thecalifornian.com
