Police, sheriff working on stolen vehicle investigation - Wahoo Newspaper

The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office retrieved the stolen vehicle and is assisting the Wahoo Police Department in the investigation, Captain Steven Malina said. Malina said they are one step closer to solving the second theft, a stolen Toyota Camry from St. Wenceslaus Elementary School. Wahoo Police Chief Ken Jackson and Malina said video footage shows someone trying to use a credit card that was in the vehicle when it was stolen. The third vehicle was stolen from an auto repair shop on North Chestnut Street and stopped running as a 17-year-old male tried to drive it away. Jackson said he didn’t know if the juvenile intended to keep the vehicle, a 1996 Ford Taurus, but it obviously needed repairs. Source: www.wahoo-ashland-waverly.com
