This unit will only fit 1995 and newer 7.3 engines. We have a different heater listed for the 1995 and earlier 6.9 and 7.3 IDI engines.
Look at the pictures.. the picture with two heaters shows how much larger the element and housing are than even our 1000w heater. The difference as compared to the 600w heater (not shown) is even more striking.
Safe for use in all 95+ 7.3 Powerstroke engines, heats engine to a warmer final temperature than the smaller heaters. Warmer starts = better cold starting and less engine wear!
