Ford says that if the spring isn’t properly seated, the door could become unlatched in a crash—potentially increasing the chance of injury. Separately, Ford announced two other recalls that affect smaller numbers of commercial vehicles. 2013-2015 Lincoln MKT limo and hearse vehicles potentially have a vacuum pump relay issue that could result in an underhood fire. That issue potentially affects 1,725 vehicles (1,586 in the U. S. ) built at Oakville, Ontario, between March 6, 2012 and March 4, 2015. And 2011-2013 Ford F-Series Super Duty ambulances and 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty ambulance and emergency... In affected vehicles (6,472 for North America and 6,322 in the U. S. ), a sensor malfunction might cause a high-temperature condition—the type of issue that might cause rough-running or other emissions-related problems.
