Alabama cop mocked on social media after being pistol-whipped - gulflive.com

Police say the robbery detective, a six-year-veteran of the force, stopped a maroon 2012 GMC Yukon in the 9100 block of Parkway East about 11:05 a. m. near the Roebuck Plaza. The driver got out of the vehicle despite the officer's demands, and began to question the detective about why he was being stopped. Sources say the officer was pistol-whipped, but Lt. Theophilus Smith said he couldn't confirm that report. Police have declined to confirm his identity, but his photos are all over social media – most with disparaging messages about police. "Pistol pimped his face n um chillen now," Twitter user @TriggaMane666 posted along with a picture, according to the New York Daily News. "Pistol whipped his ass to sleep," a Facebook user wrote before deleting the post. Source: www.gulflive.com
