Crash south of Paris injures two - Quincy Herald Whig

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 GMC Terrain driven by Carolyn S. Elkins, 72, of Paris, was northbound on Highway 15, 3 miles south of Paris, at 1:45 p. m. when it crossed the center line into the path of a southbound 2003 Ford... The Elkins vehicle struck the Smith vehicle in the driver's side, then came to rest in the southbound lane. Smith and a passenger, her nephew, Jayden R. Vaughn, 6, of Paris, were taken by Monroe County Ambulance to Audrain County Medical Center. The patrol said Smith suffered moderate injuries and Vaughn suffered minor injuries. The patrol was assisted by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department and Paris Volunteer Fire Department.
