PARSIPPANY — Were you stuck in Tuesday morning's massive traffic on Route 10 in and around Parsippany. According to police, a bit after 6 a. m. , the 74-year-old took his 2008 Jeep Liberty into the shoulder of Route 10 East to pass a line of vehicles that were stuck in traffic — and he hit a 1998 GMC truck operated by a 49-year-old from Dover who... It took hours to clear the incident, police said. Westbound lanes reopened about 7:30 a. m. , but eastbound traffic didn't resume until after 9 a. m. Kasolas was issued traffic summonses for careless driving and improper passing, police said. The driver of the truck, Abraham Cabrera Rivera, was also issued a summons for being unlicensed, police said. There were no passengers in either car, and no one was hurt, police said.
