Friends and family gather to remember crash victim Charles 'Chuck' Nossick - CapitalGazette.com

The sound of laughter traveled across Charles Nossick’s finely manicured lawn in Severna Park Friday morning. Nossick’s family was gathered outside the home to share stories, look at family photos and even watch a previously unseen video of the 56-year-old Nossick, who most knew as “Chuck,” dancing. "The life of the party," said Nossick's sister-in-law, Deborah Nichols. Nossick was killed Tuesday night in a two-car crash in Arnold. Police said 32-year-old Manuel Valencia of Arnold was making a left turn against a red arrow on Ritchie Highway at College Parkway when he drove into the path of Nossick's 1999 GMC Suburban. Nossick was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was pronounced dead. As Nossick's family gathered outside of the home he shared with wife Kathleen Colleran-Nossick, they told stories of Nossick organizing tailgates at Baltimore Ravens games, group trips to Baltimore Orioles games, and evenings in College Park to... "Everybody loved him," Colleran-Nossick said. Nossick graduated from Severna Park High School in 1976 after growing up on the Eastern Shore. When Nossick returned to Maryland, he attended Anne Arundel Community College and began working for the now-defunct World. Source: www.capitalgazette.com
