GM Eaton 10 bolt 8.6 posi locking (Gov lock) differential carrier (30 spline) with a gear set of 3.73 (11/41)

This is in good working condition, it does not need rebuilt. The ring and pinion gears / spider gears have a nice wear pattern and includes useable races & bearings (or replace to your liking) shims & C - clips as shown. The pinion shaft lock screw and pinion shaft are also included. You will receive the items as pictured

It will fit all GM vehicle with 8.6 rear / 30 spline axles 1999 and newer:  half ton trucks, Avalanche, Escalade, Denalli, C10, C15, G10, G15, K10, K15, Van, Blazer, S10 (ZR-2 30 spline) Chevy / GMC trucks Suburban Vans Full size Blazer Tahoe Yukon ect.

The 8.5″ axle was used on vehicles up to 1999. The 8.625″ was used on vehicles 1999 and up. Since 1999 was the transition year, some vehicles received the 8.5″ while others received the 8.6″. The easiest way to tell the difference is by looking at the brakes. All 8.6″ axles have disc brakes and 8.5″ have drums. Both axles use the same ring and pinion gears. The main difference between the 8.5″ and the 8.6″ is with the carrier bearings

This unit has the bigger bearings that uses race number LM603012. The previous carriers before 1999 had smaller bearings that used race number LM501314. Some 1999 (still older body style) suburbans and ZR2 S10 still use the smaller bearing units. This unit can be used in the older housings if the bearings are replaced with LM102949 and race number LM10291

Pinion bearing may be a different size. They used 2 different ones but the gears are the same for both
