To start: the Isuzu KB, which is also called Dmax in some markets, is essentially a rebadged variant of the International-market Chevrolet Colorado, albeit with an Isuzu diesel motor. And the Serengeti Special Edition is named after the wondering planes of the Serengeti ecosystem, a geographical region in Africa. “The new Serengeti Special Edition has the looks and appeal to attract attention on the road and set its owners apart from the rest,” says General Motors South Africa Isuzu Brand Manager, Mlungisi Nonkonyana. Three Serengeti Special Edition models are available, each powered by Isuzu’s 3. 0-liter D-TEQ diesel engine with 130 kW (174 horsepower) and 380 Nm (280 pound-feet) of peak torque.
