According to Ram CEO Bob Hegbloom in an interview with The Detroit News , Ram sold exactly one example of a 2500 model that cost more $60,000 in 2009. Today, 27-percent of all 2500 pickup sales top that substantial figure. I recently spent a week with a 2015 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn, and found good and bad behind its $60,465 sticker price. The Laramie Longhorn is one of two trim levels at the top of the Ram Heavy Duty lineup. If there's a better pickup interior on the market, I haven't found it. Soft-touch materials adorn the upper door panels, dashboard, and just about any other surface the driver might touch. The Southwestern theme is reflected in the saddle-like black and brown leather upholstery with embossed Laramie Longhorn logos, the open-pore wood trim, and even saddle leather background graphics in the Uconnect Touch infotainment screen. Ram also provides plenty of upscale interior amenities for its cowboy-friendly Cadillac.
